Third Time's The Charm. Right?

I have always been heavier than average. And when I was 20 I lost about 40 pounds over the course of the year. But it's all back now. 
Well, I've tried to lose it again and more since then and I've struggled so much. I could really use some great, motivating friends on MFP who will be a good support system. I'm in this for the kill this time. My fat is going to BURN! Who's with me?

I am in the same boat, except I started serious weight loss two months ago ( trying for a year, but just really focusing on diet for last 3 months ) . I've lost 150 mostly the same 60 lbs twice, this is my third and last go round. And I know it is as I've been losing weight very slowly this time, and I've changed my life and built a daily routine that includes exercise. I had the same mind set when I quite smoking 7 years ago, so I know I can do this and stick with it this time.
I've always had a thick frame from my 5-4 height as I have a fair amount of muscle...I've really focused on fitness more than weight. But I know I have 30 more lbs to go before my doctor stops giving me a lecture when I go. You can do this!! It's really about not giving up or giving in. Have a really bad meal, don't let it be a really bad week...have a weekend away, eat salad and have shakes on Monday and hit the gym hard. That's how it's been going for me, and it's working. Not as fast as I like, but that makes it meaningful. Good luck!!!0
