What kind of flowers?

Can anyone tell me what kind of flowers there are that are starting to come up in our yard? We moved into our place in the winter, so I'm not sure what kind of flowers they are! :flowerforyou:

    They look like they might be some type of iris. I have some coming up, too, and that's how they look--kind of wide but flat, right?

    They are definitely some kind of tuber or bulb plant, though. Should be interesting to see what you get--they all are usually really good for cutting!

    They look like day lily to me - pretty and they spread like wild fire

    Yes, pmjsmom, they're flat.

    I'm excited- Iris or Lillies are fine with me... I LOVE flowers and gardening! :love:

    looks like iris to me too :) They will bloom a pretty purple flower. :)

    Tulips are my absolute favorites. :love: I have some tulips growing, but they don't look like these "mystery flowers" :laugh:

    Iris of some sort! Definitely a tuber.

    They are Iris's. Mine are up like that too.

    When I moved to Maine and bought my house I was surprised in the summer to find I had roses I didn't know about and also a patch of wild Maine Strawberries!

    I believe they are irises too. I think those are so pretty.
