I am burning about 600-700 calories a day in exercise. My calories i'm consuming is about 1,177. My goal (after the exercise) is like 2,036. I'm just wondering how i'm supposed to get up there in calories but remain low on the sugars/sodiums and the bad stuff. i don't feel the need to eat more but will that help me lose weight?

You don't have to eat back your calories. If you are hungry you can eat a little back with out feeling so guilty and maybe some fruits or veggies but if you feel like you have enough energy and you have atleast eaten 1200 calories for the day you don't have to eat back the rest. I usually stay around 1200-1300 regardless of how much i exercise and I've lost 42 lbs0

Oh my gosh! Good job! But thanks for the help. So many people say you have to eat it back and I feel that I am not hungry and I've had a decent amount so thats great. Thank you0 -
You have to do what is right for yourself. Some people are complete believers of eating all those calories back, but it isn't for everyone. Don't force yourself to eat when you aren't hungry, listen to your body. I eat my exercise calories back sometimes, other days I don't really. It is up to you (:0

eating back your exercise calories is a must if you care about the functional/health aspects of your fitness. yes you may continue to enjoy the VISUAL results on what is essentially a VLCD diet (bordering on starving yourself after exercise calories are subtracted) but your health, strength, and endurance will start to plummet.
you can increase your calories by cooking with healthy oils such as olive oil or coconut oil, snacking on calorie dense foods such as nuts, using avocados, etc...0 -
You really are posting too many topics about this, you have crept up at least 6 times in the last 2 days. This site is not a quick fix, if you are actually serious about losing weight put in the time and find out what works for you.0

Sugars are fine. Only concern yourself with them if you have a medical condition.
Limiting sugar intake is a good idea for people that are NOT in a calorie deficit.
As for sodium, drink plenty of water. More sodium you have, the more potassium and water you should have. Excess sodium will not harm fat loss, it can mask weight loss by making you hold more water. But hey, water is fine, you're after fat loss.0
