Hi,
I am new to this, can anyone help by telling me how to record Body Pump in the exercise diary, ic an't seem to find it anywhere.
Its a class based weight training class, squats and weights on the bar etc.

Hello and welcome.
if you use the search box you'll be able to see this question asked several times previously, and have a look at the answers.
In short, there are an awful lot of variables; your weight, the weight you are lifting, the effort you put into it etc.
As a rough estimate, 250-350 calories for a 1 hour class is typical.0 -
I log it under Cardio - Strength Training and according to Les Mills the average burn per 1 hour class is 560 calories.

There's also an app called Body Health Calculator that gives an approximation.0

I added the excercise. I have a heart rate monitor to help me track my caloric burns. I noticed that MFP estimates 100+ calories more than what I actually burn. So I strongly suggest using one to be accurate on your burns.0

I do Body Pump as well. I use a Heart Rate Monitor and for 60 minutes burn about 275 calories.0
