Working out when sick

Is anyone else scared of getting sick and not being able to workout? Part of my gym workout includes the walk/jog to the gym and I'm afraid if I miss days because of illness I'll never go back.
This is not just out of the blue, my boss was sick yesterday and she's back today but she still sounds terrible and I'm terrified of catching something from her. The fat girl part of me struggles to start each workout even though the healthy part of me enjoys it.

I understand your fear. I share similar sentiments. When I look back, the only times I have fallen out of my working out routine has been because I was sick.
I think I have managed to work around the issue by having some low-impact exercises introduced into my routine. So that when I am on the tail end of a cold/flu bout I could do those at least. For me, exercises on my wii like zumba fitness or wii fitness are fill that low-impact gap.0
