New guy on the block

I used to just watch what I eat for a while and loose weight. Now that I am older that tactic doesnt work as well. My wife sugested I try this site to monitor what I am doing and provide encouragment and support. About 1 week in and it helps a lot to see what your progress is daily. I need to loose about 30lbs, we will see how I feel once I get to there, see if I should go further.. Thanks for stopping in.

    Welcome. I've been at this for a few months now. I'm starting to see the results and so are others. I just bought my first pair of size 40 jeans in 20 years. The 46" s are in the closet forever.
    Today, I saw some old work friends and they all were asking me what I had been doing to lose the weight.
    I will admit, it felt really good.
    The only downside is my new wardrobe is sending me to the poor house.
