A little bit about me. I was diagnosed with MS 9yrs ago. After that diagnosis I became fearful of MS exacerbation and getting sicker. The result is a lot of extra weight and losing out on a lot of time with our 4 kids. I hit rock bottom this past January and started seeing a trainer at the end of the month.
I have learned more about myself in this past year and have rediscovered the "real" me. :) I'm so excited!
My profile pic is the picture of my journey.

These pictures are my year of transformation. At the end of January I started working out at Durniat Strength with Andrew. The top pic on the left is from Marcus' baptism in February. The middle pic is towards the end of my first 5K
in May. This was a huge victory for me! My goals were 1) not to die 2) to finish & 3) not to be last. I accomplished all 3 of those that day and I had a awesome group of people to support me. :) I have finished a total of 4 5K's this year. I also finished the Warrior Dash this past August. That's the HUB and I on the net towards the finish line. The pic on the right is before the dash. That was another huge goal! Again I had great people I knew cheering me on and strangers along the dash encouraging me, it was awesome! The beginning of September most of you know I sustained a traumatic Achilles' tendon rupture which required surgical repair. Thanks to my friends and hubby I was able to stay on track! I will be walking the first 5K again in May. I also have plans for the warrior dash in August and a mini tri athalon this year too. I've just started and plan to keep on moving.:) I'm so thankful for the people I've met and the friends I've made along the way! Thank you for all your support and encouragement! You all mean more to me then you know :) I am ready to recover from this injury and hit my goals for this upcoming year! Buckle up and let's roll!
Thank you to all my MFP friends you all rock! I love you guys!
