Is eating my BMR right for me?

I've been reading a lot about BMR/TDEE on the forums and most people are saying don't eat below your BMR. My BMR is about 1380 (I'm 5'5, 138.5lbs) and I eat around 1200-1350 cals a day (1350 if I do exercise). My TDEE is about 1800 for sedentary, because I really am sedentary, I work from home so don't really move much during the day. If I exercise, I generally burn about 250 cal per session.
I've only just started out, but have lost weight (1lb+) for 3 weeks now. I'm never hungry as I eat constantly during the day and mainly eat pretty healthy stuff. If I'm losing weight and aren't hungry do I need to be eating the extra calories to get to my BMR? Or am I fine to keep going as is and then up my calories if I start to plateau?

We're similar in build. I'd suggest eating @ least yr BMR for net. I started on MFP last winter and desperately tried the 1200 kcal thing & it was not only no sustainable but not successful! Didn't lose anything til I changed my settings to lose 1/2 lb per wk. I'm down 22+lbs, I'm 5'6" and I work out 4x wk. Listen to yr body and do what works for you, I've never forced myself to eat but I find myself hungry and blah if I eat less then 1500 kcal on rest days, on work-out days I eat 1800-2000 kcal! Upper right corner. Apps, BMR, input data. I've honestly been wondering this, too. My MBR is like 1500 and MFP suggests I only eat 1200. I'm still losing just fine but if I hit a plateau I'm going up, not down.0

Lol I wasn't asking how to do it. I was asking the OP how 'she' worked out her BMR personally.0 -
