Well, not neccessarily. I have always been an active and fit person. After, my third child I lost my motivation to continue working out regularly. I lost hope of the weight just "falling off" like with my first two kids. So I am getting my butt in gear, keeping a food journal, and making a commitment to get out of this work out rut! This site is pretty awesome and I checked it out because a friend uses it. I have seen other sites that aren't even remotely as awesome and easy to use as this one! I am glad to have found MyFitnessPal!!

Welcome to MFP! You are right this site is pretty awesome and will definately keep you on track. Its a positive community and we all pretty much get along. Hey, do you have a workout program? I personally do the Power 90 workouts and I will moving up to P90X as soon as I am done with that. I am currently on Day 9! Its pretty fun and we have a thread going to kind of do an accountability. If you haven't already check out www.beachbody.com. Its awesome and I swear by it!
  • Yes I have P90X and it's a pretty awesome workout. My problem is that it acutally isn't tough enough for me. I do a brisk walk everyday with my kids plus I've been hitting the gym for more cardio and weight training with my husband. I have been pretty active for most my life so I have "muscle memory" to thank for my easy bounce backs into working out. Even the Phase 1 food was too much for me! Do you have that prob??
