Best friends....going beyond the call of duty.........

quite honestly, I'm usually the friend going the extra million miles. I always do...I've cleaned up barf, wiped *kitten*, given money I didn't have, held hands and wiped countless tears.
My BFF right now did spend 4 hours sitting on my bed listening to me sob last summer. Of course, now she says that the only guys who are attracted to me are liars. :noway:
hmmmm. Yeah, on the outs a little bit, but we'll get back there. <major eye roll>0 -
My best friend took a detour out of her way (on a 5 or so hour trip) to come see me and give me a hug because I had called her earlier to tell her I was having a horrible week. I felt like I was losing my mind, and she helped pull me together. I was at work, and she made a last minute decision to see me. I didn't even know she was close. When I looked up and saw her, I broke down. But, in a good way. LOL.
Another extremely close friend constantly comes to see me, or I'll go and see her. 2 hour trips each way. Nothing really special, I guess... but, it always makes for fun times.0 -
I have my husband. He is the only person I trust with my life, and the only person, other than my kids, for whom I would lay down my own life.
I'm with Wendy. I have major trust issues and tend to not let people in too much though.0
