I'm taking a family cruise aboard the Carnival Dream and I'm trying to get info on their Spa Carnival healthy choice menu.... Not having any luck! Do you have a link to see the menu or can you tell me a bit about it? I can't seem to find calorie count for Carnival food anywhere!!!!

You can contact John Heald (Carnival's Sr Cruise director) through his blog ( http://johnhealdsblog.com/ ) or find him on Facebook (which is the quickest way to get a reply).

He is VERY good at getting people the information they request regarding all things Carnival.

    Hope that helps.

They have changed the menus this year, and they no longer list the specific nutritional information. You can look at this site to see what is offered on the menu. john Heald might be able to get you more information.

They do note healthy options with a heart, and I have found the servers to very helpful, some have even brought out the recipe used so you could make it at home.

I just returned from an 8 day cruise, and was surprised that I only gained a few pounds, and then lost it after I returned home and settled back in to my routine.

I don't have any menu information, but I've been on several cruises, and unless you're "cruising to eat" eating well is very doable. I've gone on a few cruises and never gained any weight. There's always plenty of fresh fruit, seafood, etc. If the options for the day are too heavy for you, you can get rice, tilapia(maybe it was salmon?), and steamed veggies every day at dinner. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities for fitness, too, like a gym and a running track, plus assorted sports and activities.
