What a fantastic idea!!!!! I took your idea and used my stuffed cabbage recipe. Not only was this delicious, but it was easy and so so filling. Everyone loved it better than rolling up the cabbage! Thanks for sharing.

sounds good but 532 calories is alot for a meal. I never eat that many calories in one meal.

I do something similar, but make it into a cabbage-roll lasagna instead....use the cabbage leaves as the 'noodles'

Thanks for reminding me....I have a couple of heads of cabbage from the CSA and was wondering what to do with them (I've already made 15 pounds of saurkraut)....this is going to be dinner for Saturday.

I made the recipe as written last week. Both my husband and I were not impressed. Visual it looked like something that has been eaten before (no offense) and it tasted kinda bland.
My husband usually eats 2 servings of whatever I cook and he only had one. I ate the leftovers but had to add some sriracha to give it some more flavor.

I'm not writing this to be mean, just so people know what to expect and maybe add some more seasoning.
