    Gosh! I really hate it for you! Not only do they give you a hard time about your wedding but they COMPLETELY forget your Birthday... and a special one at that! I'm so sorry!

    It's about time to just say "Whatever" about them... I know they are family but what's the deal with them?!?!? They certainly aren't being very good to you. That's sad b/c one day they will regret these things they've done. But also keep in mind that one day you may regret letting them... don't be a doormat! You deserve better than that!!!

    My sister told me that one time when her entire immediate family (and kids) forgot her birthday she waited until about 7 in the evening and then left and went to the store, bought a birthday cake, balloons, and party hats, brought them back and set it all up to throw a party for herself! She said everybody felt terrible and they've never forgotten since!

    Been there girl...sigh

    my sweet 16th came and was going quick and no one...mom, dad, sister, brother's, aunts, grandmothers, uncles...cousins...we all lived on the same block...NO ONE remembered ...it was suppose to be the big one ...well one of them LOL(I even started thinking maybe I'll have a surprise party they're being sneaky LOL..how sad!)

    Still no phone call.... but whatever! They're probably just jealous that I get to go to Cancun! WooHoo!

    They're also probably just jealous that I have such a great support group!

    Thank you guys soooooooo much for being so supportive in my dealings w/ my fam-zillas (instead of bridezilla)!:smooched:

    I know how you feel I used to have problems like that too until I told my family that I think I will forget their birthdays too , and christmas is getting to comercialised:laugh:
    Now I do get a card and something nice from hubby, the kids and my mom will call, but my sister doesn't call me and the daughter in Law:explode: can sit in the same car and everybody else will say happy birthday and she won't, so I have decidet that I forget theirs too:bigsmile:
    If you would live closer you could come by and I would share my diet coke chocolate fudge cake:bigsmile:

    Update.....

    I finally received a voicemail from my mom and my sister.

    Mom said, "happy birthday, sorry I missed it, but did you know...." then the call was lost.

    Sister said "happy birthday, sorry I missed it, but my phone was broken all of yesterday, and today it's fixed. Otherwise I would have call."

    Whatever.

    It's all just putting salami on a black eye..... if it's not steak, it just doesn't work.


    Thank you all for the incredible birthday wishes! I guess you can pick your awesome friends, not your poopy family.

    PS I would love some Diet coke chocolate cake..... yum!
