Your super foods

Just wondering what everyone's personal superfoods are? Mine are Bernard Matthew's turkey breast chunks (22g of protein and only 1g fat per 100g), finn crisps and bananas

*stares* .... that syrup drip is more erotic than anything I've seen all day. And I don't even particularly care for maple syrup.

    - Broccoli crowns. Cut it into bite size pieces, steam it up, add a little bit of sauce (I had been using Soyaki, just picked up some General Tso's sauce) and I've got a super delicious, super filling meal that's crazy light on calories.

    - Lettuce. I love salads, and lettuce is the main component!

    - Fancy vinegar (plus sea salt and freshly ground pepper) on tomatoes. A healthy, low cal snack that's very flavorful and awesome to eat at work

    - Cottage cheese. I mix in some blueberries (which people claim is a "super food") and it's super delicious, and has a good amount of protein

Since I'm in the process of losing, my "super foods" are pretty low-cal :p

    My current super foods:

    Oatmeal
Peanut Butter or Almond Butter (PB2 in some cases for smoothies/in my oatmeal)
Greek Yogurt (Plain, I add fruit and stevia myself)
Blueberries (We picked them this summer and froze about 25 pounds...I'm loving them now!)
In season veggies (this is done now so I'm stuck getting them at the store! BOOO) Broccoli, cauliflower, fresh spinach & cabbage
    Sandwich Thins (high fiber choices)
    Eggs (fried, hard-boiled, omelets)
Oh yeah I've been playing with more spices and have discovered some awesome vinegars too!

Bulgar, our favourite grain and it has replaced rice, pasta, couscous. We have it at least 4 times a week. Our other super foods would be whole farm fresh eggs, lentils and dried beans (especially black beans and chick peas).
