On the container of Vlasic kosher dill pickles, it says that there are no calories, but when I entered it into my food diary it came up at 5 calories per spear. Can anyone explain this?

I looked it up-it says five on my jar. Regardless of fat or other content, cucumbers themselves have calories, pickling them may add some, but never subtract. But only 5 calories?! What a great snack!

Just remember most pickles are high in sodium! I love pickles they are one of my favorite snacks. I wish they did not have so much sodium!0
