This weight loss battle (for me) is just as much a mental one as physical one. This week, I've started daily mental fat & flab "work-out" routine "daily" of sorts (it's a seven days a week work-out plan--no rest from this type of "exercising" ). The same way I pre-plan and track my daily food and physical execise for the day, I'm also pre-planning, writing down and "working out" my mental flab and fat exercise goals for the day too and WOW, such a difference it's making in my body, mind and soul my starting this is--I'm seeing NSV in just one week:smooched: .
I usually feel guilty pretty easily, especially when it comes to being slothful & gluttonous, because these are two of my biggest "temptations" to which I have a natural "bent" towards. Well, today I am purposely having a body sabbath of sorts from my usual body exercising routines. I'm having a day of totally relaxing and cooling out to the maximum--GUILT-FREE, that's the difference. I've worked out hard all week and though I will be doing some dancing later on and perhaps some weight lifting maybe, it feel GREAT to just do nothing but chill out and not feel bad about it. I may even take a nap--hmmmph!
I'm also going to have a Chinese food feast for dinner tonight too (well, of sorts...my idea of "feasts" have changed and doesn't involve stuffing my face until I feel like I'll bust--but I am going to have a little bit of all of my favorite Chinese and Thai Foods for dinner tonight, again totally guilt-free--all within my daily calorie goals and actually a wee bit below. YAY!

Glad to see others enjoying them selves! I love to eat at restaurants, I was really worried I would have to give them up in order to take weight off. I have found as long as I stay under my calorie goal I am still taking the weight off and I can really eat what it is that I want. I will say I have stayed away from pasta, bread, potatoes and anything fried. I even ate at a Chinese Buffet for lunch this week. Just ate more veggies and less meat and for the folks that disagree I have taken off almost a pound a day since starting MPF!0
