I only now started posting on the forums after looking through a bunch of threads on weightloss. I'm struggling with my weight as I am trying to rapidly lose weight in the healthiest way possible.
A little bit about me:
I'm 24 years old, 5'10'' and 224 lbs. I suppose I've really gotten tired of feeling overweight. ESPECIALLY since I've always been the type to be healthy. All throughout middleschool and High school I was a very lean healthy athlete. I was pretty much a track star, skateboarded everywhere and once I hit Junior/senior year I ballooned because of stress, depression and working at McDonalds (Damn the cheap food and first jobs). Anyways. I got to a point where I hit nearly 300 lbs and decided that enough was enough. 2010 was the year I decided to make that change and I've dropped nearly 60lbs by eating healthier and hitting the gym.
I no longer have a gym membership since I cannot afford it so I stick to running. I've seem to have hit a wall though Since lately I've been hovering in the 220's.
My goal is to get back to a lean 180lbs not only to be happy be with my self image but also for my health and most importantly I am looking to join my City's Police Department. I look forward to all advice and interacting with all of you
