If you really want to lift your butt, you are going to need to put some weight on a bar for your squats, and you probably don't want to do them every day. Squatting without any weight ain't gonna do too much, no matter how many you do.
Start with an empty Oly bar (45#) in a power cage or squat rack and go for 5 sets of 5 reps. Make sure you are squatting low (*kitten* to grass) -- check stronglifts.com for proper form videos. Do 3 times per week, adding 5# each time.
My partner and I did 135# 5x5 in our last session, so if we could keep up our incremental increases throughout December that should be almost 200# by New Year's. That's probably overly optimistic though. It's already damn hard.0 -
Hi All,
I have been doing all the squats as I had seen this on facebook first. I didn't even think to check here!
Hope everyone can start seeing results. I know that I have and things are getting looser on me and my abs are starting to tighten and my stomach is easier to keep in while doing them.
Have a great day.:flowerforyou:0 -
I tried looking up all these groups but they seem to just be bodyweight squats which are totally pointless for me. Where's the weighted squats? And why would you squat everyday without leaving rest?0
