    -deer in the headlights-

I always feel overwhelmed when asked to pick my favorite. I don't know where to start! I usually have to break it down by genre, then sub-genre, then author. Some current favorites:

Anne Bishop (ALL of her written books. I own every last one)
Brent Weeks (Night Angel Trilogy/ Lightbringer Trilogy)
Peter V. Brett (the Demon Cycle)
Orson Scott Card (Tales of Alvin Maker)

Yeah those are the top four right now. I usually find an author and fixate, so my collection at home is mostly fantasy, and while I have literally hundreds of books, I have very few authors I just get ALL their stuff.

I don't have a favourite because I love everything but right now I'm reading Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss, and it is REALLY good.

I am the same. I go through phases. I love classics. Read everything by Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Love historical based books whether biogarphical or fiction. Usually stick to a certain era at a time-Diary of anne Frank, Farewell to Manzanar, Summer of my German Soldier (are all ones that stick out from High School). I think my love of books started when I was a little girl with the Little House series and the Anne of Green Gables series. Also love short Story books like ones by Robert Fulghum or the Chicken soup series.:heart:

I really liked Clan of the Cave Bear, as well as it's sequel (I forgot the sequel's name). There are other books in the series that I haven't read yet, but I really like the series so far. By Jean Auel.

I can't say I have a "favorite" I like to read David Baldachi, Patricia Cornwell, James Paterson, etc.

If you want something different, try Spencer Quinn and Andrew Peterson.

I've been buying $0.0, $1.99 and $2.99 books for my kindle fire and am loving trying new authors.
