Before and After- Down 50lbs so far

So, about three years ago I was at my heaviest. I stayed that way, lost maybe 10lbs, then last year, just as I'd gotten down 20lbs, I broke my foot. I was unable to walk for about 8 months. Got back going, and four months later, tore all of the tendons (except the achilles) in the opposite ankle. That was in March this year. When I was back on my feet in June, I started going at it, and Now I'm down to 208lbs. I have a ways to go, but when the pictures started coming in from the charity run I did this morning- and folks made major compliments on how I looked, it finally dawned on me how much I've changed!
The first photos are from April 2009- At my going away party...with cake...ugh. I feel sort of disgusted if I look at this and see what I was doing with myself. I was a bit over 250lbs. It's actually kind of embarrassing, but I'm so proud of the second photo it's worth it!
The second is from the finish line at the Jingle Bell Arthritis Run this morning. ~208lbs. (sorry it's so small!)

I'm so excited I finally get to post some before and after pictures with some kind of difference! It all pays off.
Edited to add more photos!

Big obvious difference. You've faced your challenges and didn't give up. A true MFP-er if ever there were one. Congratulations and Merry Christmas.0

Thanks again everyone. MFP has played a major part in this, and it's very important. I hope to reach my goal by may next year (or get close to it), and maybe reach farther and really be happy with myself by the time I move next august. Couldn't do it without everyone here. *<3*0
