I had gotten to week three before I went on a two week vacation. The thing with running is that you can quickly lose the progress you've made if you don't stick with it. I had a cold when I came back so I didn't start up again this week. I plan to restart the program from Week 1 on Monday of next week.

I think the program is fantastic and I really encourage you to keep up with it. Good luck!

I started it at the beginning of September, and completed week 9 last weekend! It's been brilliant for me - I'd done no kind of exercise for about 11 1/2 years, and was never, ever a runner at all! The first week was so tough - I knew I was really unfit, but found the 60 seconds running such hard work. I got through them by counting steps or breaths. But by the middle of the second week, I could already feel how much my fitness had improved - and it's kept going since then.

    Keep with it - it's a great programme. You'll be a runner soon :D

I finish week 4 today and I love it. I've never been a runner but do enjoy this. I double up and doit 6 times a week instead of just the three. I may back that down a bit if it gets to be too much but so far it's good.

Finishing up week 5 tonight. It does get easier for sure and I haven't done anything that gives me such a sense of accomplishment week after week. What I love is that every week provides a new personal best. I say go for it and every week you will be convinced that you can't do the next increase but I promise you that you can. Don't let your mind limit your possibilities!!!! Also run slowly.... pace is irrelevant until the program has been completed. The key to success is to complete every run even if you run at a snail's pace.
  • Aww thanks so much for all your comments :)). Anyone doing this feel free to add me
  • Day 2 done, was so difficult!

  • I was already saying to myself in the last 60 second run (60 seconds seem so long sometimes) don't you give up and I didn't :-). You're doing fab, well done

Completed week 3 and was feeling on cloud 9 and was absolutely impressed with myself. But when I started week 4 my knee started hurting like crazy so I'm giving it a rest and having it checked by doc before I continue. Totally depressed with that. ....I can't wait to get back at it.....

I completed day 2 today and day 1 yesterday so I'm trying to work out what schedule will work for me. It's hard because I'm at college and I have a huge workload, but it's also easier because I'm at college and I have a beautiful campus to utilize for runs. Just starting out it has been easier than I expected, having not exercised for a very long time, but it is still challenging.

    Good luck to you!

Yes I have.. it's excellent. I plan to continue on with the c2-10k.

Keep at it. Don't give up. I found it less mundane when done outdoors and with music.

I just finished week 7 today and cannot believe I have been able to keep up with each week! I just wish I was able to run outside but it is too cold so the treadmill it is.

Just did week 2 day 1 today. Going very well. Had some shin splints but am doing some shin exercises to help with that.
