HELP! Hungry all of the time!

Try as I might to curb my appetite, I just can't seem to do so!
I'm basically looking for positive, effective ways to stop my hunger and the little voice in my head that screams at me to eat... all of the time! I've been drinking plenty of water (today I was up to 10 glasses) and still I never felt satiated, even though I snacked lightly on almonds and ate three very (too) full meals! I understand that loosing weight is basically having a calorie deficiency and I can just feel all of my hard work exercising going to waste if I continue listening to my stomach and constantly whining about being hungry!
Any help, advice and tricks would be extremely welcomed! Thank you in advance

First and foremost, you should make sure you're actually eating an adequate amount of food. A SUPER simple way to do it is eat your BMR plus all your exercise calories.
If you are indeed eating enough, here's my advice:
Eat a combination of carbs, fat, and protein each time you eat. If you just have two of the 3 you aren't likely to stay satisfied as long. for instance, if you eat just a piece of fruit, you'll get hungry fast. If you have that same piece of fruit with some yogurt (protein and fat) you'll be full much longer. Or you could have it with a piece of cheese or a hard boiled egg or something. Also, choose the highest fiber carbs you can. So if you're choosing between two different brands of bread to buy, get the one with lower calories and higher fiber. If you're wanting to eat a junky snack like a granola bar, grab the ones with higher fiber. Fiber helps for sure. But adding protein at every snack is big. If you can make each snack/meal high in protein and fiber, you're golden.0 -
Thank you so much for the advice! Thinking about it now, it makes a lot of sense and I will definitely concentrate on increasing my protein and fiber intake! I actually found some really quick, easy and delicious recipes for some high in fiber snacks and I will be trying them out as soon as tomorrow

Thanks again and I cant wait to put this knowledge to the test xx0 -
a lot of the time for me when i feel hungry, i drink a big glass of cold water. i use to get this thing after i ate like my stomach was rumbling like i was hungry...turns out its a sign of dehydration. i started drinking a 1.5 gal of water a day...i dont get that anymore. im not suggesting that you drink that much water im just a big person (6'5-256) thats why i drink so much. there are alot of calculators out there to see how much to drink according to your body size...give it a try, you might be supprised.0
