You owe me one now too! (If you're just getting back into running don't try to overdo things; enthusiasm is a wonderful thing but most running injuries are a result of trying to do too much, too soon, too fast)

Amy, Running is such a great exercise. I think that would be really good for you, especially with your work schedule, if you were running!! It would allow you to get some awesome exercise in at almost anytime. I used to do it and loved it. (wish I were able now)

I do agree with the other post though. Start out slow and steady and don't try to do too much at once. It's best to stay injury free.

I hope you still have some running shoes around somewhere,...in good shape-- so you don't have to go out and buy any.
    Your friend, Amy

You asked for it! How long do you think it's going to take to run all these miles? Take it easy and don't try to do it all at once.

Haha, yes. I did ask for this... Remind me again why I thought to do this?? Oops... :P
Well, seeing as there are 14 miles (so far), ill probably go 5-7 miles a day for however long that'll take. Which, that shouldn't be TOO hard, because I already go 5 miles a day on normally days. But it will be a little bit more of a challenge.
Thanks goes to everyone from me for supporting me through this :)
Hope everyone has a great day and keep the comments coming!! (If you wish)

Here's some motivation for you, by way of personal anecdote:

I started running a little over 10 years ago. It helped me lose 65 pounds and I ended up racking-up some huge mileage totals (6 marathons, 40 half marathons). I promised myself I would never stop. But then life kinda got in the way. A rough stretch with work, a very happy marriage that made me spend less time at the gym / running and more time at home. Now I've put back on 35 pounds and even though I *really* crave going out for that nice long run on the weekends (10+ miles) I can't physically do it any longer.

I'll get back there soon, I know, but I'm starting from scratch practically. Don't let this happen to you! :)
