DOGS! {pics}

I moved into a house and got a DOG!! A brand new jogging companion straight from the shelter! I'm so excited to have someone to motivate me to start walking/jogging outside. He's not ready to go for runs/long jogs yet because he's new/only 10 months and has to build up to it... but still!

Anyone else have jogging partners? Post your pics of 'em!

    My running buddies: Kegan and Molly (from right to left)

    I've been running with them for about 6 years now. Kegan is getting too old for the longer runs but he loves hiking!!

    OP. check with your vet before you run with your dog. I think he may still be a bit young. He's gorgeous though.

    It's because of his breed. Their back legs get hip dysplasia super easy and I don't want to expedite it so I take it easy with him. We ran five miles and his back legs got a little stiff for a day. He's 7 years old and thank you. I think he's a good lookin guy too :)

    Thinking of getting my OH a series of sessions with a cani-cross trainer with him and his dog, for Christmas. Looking for a book on cani-cross to go with it but I can't find any. Any suggestions?

    My profile pic is my running partner. She is wearing my finisher medal from this years philly marathon. I felt she deserved it for all the mornings she forced me to get my but up and out the door to run. For my runs over 5 miles I would drop her off at home and continue.

    She is a rescue and is part lab and part greyhound (we think).

    I'm sorry, I've never heard of a cani-cross trainer. Good luck!

    This is Captain Jack, I am on week 7 of C25K and had to stop taking him with me at W4 because he makes me run to fast and I can't finish the runs. I am hoping to bring him along with me in the next couple of weeks as I get used to running 30 minutes, he can help me increase my speed.

    does anyone know why that is huge but still cut off the other half of the pic. There is a whole dog in the original picture.
