Chalean extreme turbo fire or both?

I am new to the whole working out thing :) I have an amazing coach who helped me decide it was time.

Here i am at 300lbs after 2 kids and a battling depression. I tried turbo jam and quickly got bored and bought turbo fire. I am doing turbo fire i am 4 days in and so far so good. I manage to get a work out in every day while the 2 kids nap. Just looking to boost my results. I find I am having a hard time keeping up with turbofire and wondering if chalean extreme might be a better start to build up the muscle to be able to do the workouts more easily in turbofire. Or should i try the turbofire+chalean extreme hybrid?

Just looking to see what you ladies are doing and how well it is going for you. Its very hard to find people my size trying to do these work outs.

I am not fit at all, but I'm on Week 3 of TurboFire. It's hard to keep up because of coordination, but after awhile you get used to it. =) I've heard to do a hybrid for the strength training, but since you started Fire already maybe just lift some weights 3x/week? Doesn't have to be heavy, don't strain yourself.

ps. I too am battling depression :) If you want we can be buddies!

Post partum after 2 kids is rough. Before I met my fiance i was around 270... I moved away from home and across canada and lost 80 pounds. I was down to 180 again it was amazing but it was short lived I met my fiance and quickly got pregnant and the 80 pounds came back like they never left. YUCK. So easy on but hard to take off. I cant keep up with the coordination but i am already getting better with it. through the really quick parts i put it on slow mo HAHA. I still give it my all but this way it gives me a chance to ensure im doing it correctly. A friend told me about her journey and said she couldnt complete most work outs till she gained muscle from her strength training. Once she gained some muscle she found it a little it easier. I think i might need to buy some weights :)

In my opinion ChaLEAN Extreme is the far better program because resistance training based programs always tend to yield better results than purely cardio based ones. Plus high impact exercises can leave you injured for life if your form is not perfect (and even then there's always that risk) and when you use the low impact modifier in Turbo Fire you really turn down the burn of the workouts. A lot of people do a hybrid program where you supplement the high intensity cardio workouts from TF in place of the cardio/rest days of ChaLEAN Extreme, but this actually yields inferior results to just folloing the ChaLEAN Extreme plan as doing the weight training workouts in ChaLEAN Extreme require letting your muscles rest afterwards, and the cardio workouts in TF are simply too high intensity to provide your muscles with the rest they need, thus slowing your results and increasing the risk for injury.

I believe one of the other posts to be correct that i could get injured doing turbofire. i feel that i could easily roll my ankle LOL but that aside i was watching some of the chalean extreme videos and it looks like a girly p90x.....

Or there's Jillian Michael's Body Revolution which is a bit like a mix of both of them.
