TOM is MIA. Ladies?

I had my third baby in March (was 240+lbs at delivery) and started here in April at 219lbs. Now, 7 months later I'm down to 166. I had one period two months ago and haven't seen any sign of it since. With my other babies my cycle came back regular when they were 13 months old (with my first) and 3 months old (with my second.) Obviously I've breastfed all of them. For those of you who have lost a good amount of weight in a fairly short time (I'm down 53lbs in 7 months), did your cycle get screwed up? It's not like I'm a competitive gymnast or anything, so I'm surprised that I'm so wonky. Ladies?
And, nope, I'm not pregnant.

My cycle has been MIA since July and I'm not pregnant either. I've been to my doc and had multiple labs drawn. My testosterone is very low, and I'm not in menopause. I'm 35. I've lost 7 pounds- and right now maintaining at 5'3 127 and exercising 6-7 days. I keep asking my dr. if it's because I've changed my diet and exercise and she says no. We are still trying to figure things out.0

It can take up to a year after you get your period back for it to regulate, especially if you are still breastfeeding. Sounds totally normal, even if you weren't losing weight.0

If you are still feeding and your little one is still having night feeds its common for you not to get your period. My sister in law is part of a help line for breast feeding mothers (trained) and she reassured me that its very normal. I didn't get my period back until my boy started to wean and stop his night feeds....which was around 13 months after he was born..... (and I wasn't losing weight when I was feeding)......0

I guess I just didn't realize it was normal for it to be irregular while nursing since it came back so regularly after the first 2 kids. Both nursed for 2 years, so I had several regular cycles while breastfeeding with both. Thanks, mamas.0
