Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to the website and forums, so just a quick on me: 18, In highschool, and I'm trying to lose fat and gain muscle weight. My school doesn't really offer healthy lunch, and I can't afford to bring some from home, any advice? I run 6 miles a day, and try to do 10 miles on Saturdays. Every thursday I go to PT with Marine Corps recruiters and other poolees. Any advice? Thanks!

First get your measurements, then find what your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) and BMR is at.

You can't gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. You would have a hard time gaining much of anything while doing that much cardio anyway.
At your age, if you want to gain muscle, you have to eat a lot and lift.0 -
Dont worry about what youre eating for lunch so much as adding in any missing nutrition later at dinner0
