Weight training folks on here?

Without any real subforums, is there much discussion going on here around exercises that aren't calorie-centric? I do my cardio because I have to but other than playing frisbee, soccer, or basketball, I pretty much hate cardio. I spend most of my gym time picking up heavy things.
Any favorite resources here on MFP for lifting?

    Yes. You should probably search groups- maybe look for stronglifts? I'm in two, but they are only for women.
    Also the group "in place of a road map" is good if you want to lift AND lose (not sure if you need to lose).

    Thanks! I found the "Strength training" group here and I'll look at the road map one too. The group layout is a little different but I think I like it.

    there's a group here but it's not very active. best bet is to friend other lifetrs.
