New and Ready to lose!

Hey all, I'm Angela and I'm new. I've had MFP on my phone but haven't been using it the way I should be. Currently I am 249 and my goal weight right now is 200. My ultimate goal is 180. I've been slacking but it's time I get back to my healthier body and lifestyle. I've recently started some yoga for weight loss workouts, and have a gym membership that should be used more than it is..also going to be trying some new meal replacement products. If anyone has any tips, feel free to use them! One question, do you think having a scale helps with weight loss?
