Getting frisky with the sales lady... NSV

I had myself a little NSV today. I have officially sized out of my old small clothes from years ago with the exception of 1 skirt. So, I had to go buy 2 new skirts, and wait for it...I used to be a tight 24 and today I bought a size 12 and a size 10 (has a little stretch). I had grabbed size 16s and the sales lady was like "Honey, I don't think that is your size, why don't I get you something smaller." I was expecting 14s and when I saw what she sizes she brought I just laughed, okay I may have even snorted, but when they actually fit, I let out a little scream and hugged the sales lady (embaressing my lovely daughter). I think the size 10 is probably vanity sizing, but I don't care I'll take it. Oh, and better yet they were both 60% off. I'm pretty much peeing rainbows today (expression from a crazy old uncle).

A quick picture reference, on the left the last skirt I bought a size 24 and on the right the size 10 I bought today! I cannot wait to be in the single digits, only 40ish more pounds to go.

    What a great day. I too have no idea what size I am and rely on friends shopping with me. I always reach for cloths that are too big.

    No offense taken, when I look back at my old pictures I do not think I realzed how much older I looked and I used to be worried that people would notice my greys and really my grey hairs were the least of my worries. I think too as we lose weight we stand taller and smile more, both of which make us look so much younger.

    Thanks to everyone for the kind words and I don't own a cell phone or I would have snapped the sales lady's picture. Hopefully, that hug was as good for her as it was for me. haha

    you look great and what a feeling! I admit I did a little jig in the changing rooms when i got into a 14 at last I was 24/26 18 months ago. love 'peeing rainbows' too x
