Type 1 Diabetic

I've been diabetic for 38 years and on the pump for approx 10 years. This is the first time I've been able to loose weight. My A1C is down to 6.9

Type 1 is caused by the immune system not excess weight.

You're probably thinking of Type 2 diabetes. Type 1 is different.

One day they will find a cure. And THAT would be awesome!

Hi. I'm type 1 for 34 years, been on a pump for 15 years, no complications. I lost 110 pounds in a year using MFP as part of my arsenal. Congrats on lowering your A1c.
