Shocked! It seems I'm enjoying exercise... NSV

For the first time in my life I have been exercising consistently - 4 of my work colleagues convinced me to join their personal training session twice a week which is basically a circuits class.

I deliberated over joining for nearly a year as work pay for the first 12 sessions and it's frowned upon if you don't see them through. Anyway I have done 7 sessions now and I'm fitting in extra exercise in between.

Yesterday I had a cold, normally i would've used that as an excuse not to go but I went along anyway. When I got there the trainer suggested that I probably shouldn't train with a cold and to take myself off home and rest instead.

Old me would've been outta there in a shot! But instead I asked if I could stay and take it at my own pace and he agreed.

Only a small NSV but I felt proud of myself all the same :)

Finding a way to exercise that I actually enjoyed was a huge turning point for me, which at the time I didn't grasp the significance of, but it really does make a big difference to look forward to and enjoy doing it rather than seeing it as a chore Congrats on the NSV.

Well done you! It took me 9 weeks of running three times a week to start enjoying it! I'm up to 12 weeks now, and am keeping going...
