So I got the app for myfitnesspal.com on my ipod about 6 weeks ago, I think. I wanted to start keeping track of my calories because I haven't been very successful with food diaries in the past but I have been determined to finally get in shape! I'm graduating from college this summer and am really hoping to reach my goal around my birthday in September. Also, am a litte disappointed because I haven't been able to drop a pants size yet but I'm hoping that will happen soon!

I've been having that same problem - I've lost about the same since joining mfp, but still wearing the same jeans! I can definitely feel them getting looser though, and I tried on some smaller jeans last night, and could fit them on at least. Still a bit tight to wear, but I'll get there. Glad to hear I'm not the only one though, we just need to keep plugging away and we'll get down to that next size. You've done a great job so far, just focus on that too!:)0

Just hang in there. I hear ya about the motivation. When at work, everybody seems to come out of the woodwork, bringing all sorts of donuts, cakes and homemade goodies (like today). And, mind you, I don't do very well with food temptation, at all.
It sounds like you're on the right path, though. And don't loose sight of the prize! Just continue to take it one day at a time.
And, job well done--with the 12 pounds!! Congrats!0 -
Thanks guys, this is definitely the longest I have stayed on a diet! And I'm having the exact same problem! The jeans I have right now are loose also, but one size down is still too snug! I'm not at all good with temptation either =\0

I too am in a simiar boat, down about 13.5 pounds. Still in the same size pants, but into the smaller ones (the bigger ones are too big now!). And I can probably fit in to the big pants the next size down, but haven't gone through that bin of clothes yet! Obviously the pounds mean something, but exercising and losing inches is what's really going to make a difference. I feel like it takes a good 15 pounds before you can really move down a size. Maybe when we get smaller, it'll be more like 10 pounds to get to the next smaller size!0
