P90X calories?

I was just wondering if there is some references that can give me the calories burned for P90X. I'm on day two and can't find any data base when I go to put my calories in. For instance, I did shoulders and arms, which is more strength training, but have no idea how many calories I burned for an hour of that, then 16 minutes of Ab ripper X? Anyone out there that can help?

I'd log it as cardio or calisthenics if they have the option. . It's more endurance based than strength training.0

"Calisthenics" is fine, like deadlift said. Many people like to use the "Circuit Training" entries, too.0

I googled "p90x calories burned" and found a couple calculators that you can enter the workout, your weight, level of intensity and it tells you how many calories you burned. You can create exercises "my exercises"... even though ab ripper etc are "strength training" I put it under cardio only so I could put an accurate calorie count without having to enter every single pushup/pullup. Your best bet in the long term is to snag a quality heart rate monitor and wear it during the workouts. Go for the Polar models - the FT7 and FT40 are both great.0

For me, I typically burn a lot less than their website indicates. I just go by my HRM which I think is more accurate.0 -

I'm in week 5. Today was Back and Biceps and Abs. My HRM gave me a burn of 530, but I don't put much weight into it since HRMs aren't really intended for use during strength training.
I did the calorie allowance calculations that are in the nutrition book that came with the set and put my MFP allowance at that number. I eat 1,800 calories per day and don't log my exercise burns.0
