About to have pasta for dinner and I don't have a food scale at the moment. 85g is a serving at 310 calories. Just curious what that roughly works out to measuring cup wise?
thanks
thanks

cups is volume, grams is weight0

yes I know, but I have nothing whatsoever to weigh it on... just need a rough idea0

Yeah I could google everything in the world, but I choose to go on this site because I like the social interaction.. sometimes. Thanks anyways.0

ROFLMHO  That's the first time I'd seen that.0

When I measured my penne out into a measuring cup, on top of my electronic scale, it was about a cup (cooked). A serving of ice cream is generally 1/2 c, but the measurement in grams is varied, sometimes by 30 g, so you're getting a really rough estimate.0

Just for you, I weighed out 85g of penne pasta and it's about 3/4 cup uncooked.0

thanks.. an estimate was all I needed0

Do you plan to get a digital food scale to improve portion control?0
