A bit lost.....

Ok so I'm new at MFP - and I've been on various diets over the years and have never kept the weight off.
This time I think I'm in a better head space to realize it's a lifestyle change rather than a quick diet.
So my question to everyone is - what types of recipes are you making - Low Calorie, Low Fat, Less MEat, More fruit etc - I've done Atkins/Weight Watchers etc - and all have different methods - what should I be doing (in your opinion)...
Any help much appreciated with recipes etc - especially any good websites (for tasty meals - I'm not interested in eating cardboard or pre-packaged foods - I want to make my own meals from scratch)!

I tend to eat meat and veggies, sometimes some rice. It's much easier than trying to figure out the calories in recipes and how much of said recipe I ate. As long as you stay in your calorie budget you don't need to go low carb, low fat or any other special "diet".0

Ive been replacing my breakfast sometimes with shakeology which has made me feel much slimmer and more energized and basically cutting back the carbs to only once a day. For example, if i had a piece of wheat toast for breakfast then i wont have bread for lunch or dinner! its just little changes that can make all the difference.0
