The security of online shopping depends on the website from which you plan to shop from. If the site is trust worthy, online shopping is a very good method of shopping as the products get availed to us at a cheaper rate than available at markets around us.

Just make sure that the URL starts with https://www.xxxxx and not just http://www.xxxxx. That designates that the site is SUPPOSED to be secure as far as your information goes. Sticking to well known legit sites doesn't hurt either.0
