Was doing so good

So right after Thanksgiving I fell off the "caring wagon" for weight loss. I did good until the Monday after. I didnt realize how good I was doing. I haven't really been over doing it at all but, I havent been excercising nearly as much as I was.
HOLY COW... I pretty much have just stayed the same.

What a difference it makes. I'm sure if I had been excercising, I would have reached my next goal.

I feel guilty for not checking in and keeping up to date on everything. Guess it really does matter.

Holiday time is not fun w/weight loss. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the "not having time" problem due to the holidays.

The thing is that there can always be reasons why there aren't time. I think blaming the holidays can be a cop-out. Sure, there's food, and family around, it's easy to just veg out and eat and drink and be merry. But that doesn't mean you still can't get a little sweat on.

I saw somewhere that an hour of exercise is 4% of your day or something. You can do it.

The 'Holidays' are not an excuse. I'm sorry, but it just isn't. You need to look at why you wanted to lose weight in the first place and decide if that is less important than eating endless cookies, candy, and holiday treats. If it is then we have nothing else to say.

If it isn't, then you need to get back on the wagon. Remember, if you plan properly you can still enjoy your Holiday foods and stay on track. Don't let time, treats, or anything stop you if you REALLY want to reach your goal.

We are here to support you, but first you have to support yourself. *hugs*

Take a look at what you said there. Without worrying too much about diet and exercise, you maintained your weight, right? If not for your improved mindset, do you think you would have gained? I think that's probably a small victory right there that you're overlooking.

I know, "you can always fit in exercise," "there are no excuses," whatever, but sometimes life just gets in the way. I'd pick fun times over gym time pretty much any day

By all means, try your best to keep your nutrition on track. And fit in some activity! But hey, if you weight loss slows/comes to a stop for a few weeks or a month or two, it's not the end of the world. Who cares how much you weigh if you're not enjoying yourself? I guess I belong to the don't-stress club of weight loss, haha

I havent been eating junk food or anything like that, if you read my post correctly. I just havent really been watching and counting calories and obsessing over it like I was. My weight just hasnt budged.

I just felt guilty because I havent been able to get to the gym and havent had time to sign on here and count the calories for accountalbility.

Been back on the weight loss plan as of this week and I PLAN ON STAYING ON IT.

Was just looking for a little encouragement hoping that I wasnt the only one that hit a road block on their road to weight loss.
