I have a hard time eating breakfast. I usually don't eat it at all. I know that I NEED to, so I need some help.
What do you eat for breakfast? I want something with not a lot of calories, but something that is filling.
Something that is quick and easy to grab on my way out of the door.
HELP!

I am a huge fan of steel cut oats in the crockpot - I make a batch during the weekend and will have them all week.
2c steel cut oats
4c unsweetened almond mile
4c water
cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Cook on low for 8 hours
I also will add a little brown sugar, raisins and walnuts. 3/4c of cooked oats is 145 calories0 -
Good plan jumping on the breakfast band wagon Although there are schools of though that say to front-load your calories (i.e. big breakfast), but let's just get you eating in the first place if it's new to you.
Easiest is good ol' oatmeal, and not that sugary flavoured crap. If you're in a rush the best thing is to prep it in a microwavable dish the night before. Get either steel cut or large flake oats and put 1/3 or 1/2 a cup dry into the bowl. Cover the oats in skim milk (for protein) or water (go for the protein) and add something like cinamon or ginger. Pop in something for healthy fat like nut butter or chia/hemp seeds, maybe some apple or raisins. At night it will soak up and be easy to reheat for a couple minutes.
Frying a couple of eggs/egg whites with some spinach or pepper is also pretty easy. Put that on a slide of whole grain bread or in a wrap and you're good to go.
There's also greek yogurt with fruit and some granola in it, or chia seeds in it.
Or get some whey protein and blend that up with berries, oatmeal, chia/hemp. High protein breakfast to keep your metabolism reving high.

If I have time when I'm home. I'll eat a cup of cereal and a cup of 2% milk. If I don't have time, then when I get to work I'll have instant oatmeal- 130 to 160 calories. On the weekends. I'll cook up a couple of scramble eggs, one piece of toast, no butter.

Who says you "need" to eat breakfast?
If you're not a breakfast person, skip it. Plenty of people follow an intermittent type eating schedule.0 -
special K protein plus cereal. Put 1/2 a cup of unsweetened almond milk on it and sprinkle some stevia 0 calorie sweetener. 130 calories and 10 g of protein.
Or
100% whole wheat Nature's own toast (50 calories a slice) with fat free canned refried beans on top. (I live in new mexico so this sort of breakfast is common here.100 calories for one piece of toast with 1/4 q cup of beans. I usually have two and put some salsa on top. This breakfast really sticks with you!0
