After reaching goal weight and slowly raise your calories intake, it is natural to gain a bit right?

How long again when the weight drop back to normal after raising calories?

Also is there anything that differentiate water weight fat and fat?

I reached my goal weight a week ago and I am not trying to slowly my cals but this past 3-4 days, I have gain back some weight. That's OK, it's probably a water weight. However, a week has past and now I have gain back 2lbs. Does it still counted as water weight? Usually when I gain some water weight back it's only 0.3 kg for a few days except this time when my weight keep gaining 0.3 kg for 3-4 days straight. I'm now worried that it is not water weight anymore and I have actually gain back those fat. :(

re-ask in a few weeks, it could be natural retention because carbs (which naturally hold water) increase generlly as calories increase along with the other macros. Also if you exercise, that also makes you retain :) again 1 week is not long enough to make any conclusions on.

Thanks for the answer. :) I will have to brace myself and wait to see for the next few weeks then.

Also another question, I should stick to eating to my increase calories intake, correct? I am so tempted to decrease my daily calories today now.

You may want to give yourself a maintenance range of a few pounds since actual weight can be such a fuzzy number depending on water weight, TOM, and any other number of variables. Then if you go over that range for more than a couple of weeks, you may want hunker down and get back to a deficit for a little while. I've found that if I go above my range, I'm able to get back in it rather quickly and easily in a week or two. To maintain, your calories should be at your TDEE (no deficit). But also keep track of your measurements and body fat% -- those can mean more than the scale after a while. I've been in the same weight range since August, but have continued to slowly lose inches and body fat.

Personally I'd stick with the new calories for a few weeks and see what happens, just ensure the extra you are eating is from the right stuff like protien or fruit & veg, not loads more carbs or junk. That's my advise anyway and congrats on being in maintenance mode, great isn't it.

Also, for me anyway, when I'm. In maintenance mode my weight still fluctuates over the weeks by + or - 3 pounds so rather pick a single number pick a nice range and then only worry when you move outside that. Mines 178-185 when my initial target was 180. I only drop out of maintenance if I go over 185.

    Hope my 2 cents helps
