Winter Break Challenge

I decided to make a small change to my daily routine- nothing too extensive, so it's easy for me to fit in every day. I made a challenge for myself over winter break (basically now through mid-January) to work my way up from 25 to 50 squats, side leg lifts, calf raisers, and push ups (against the wall for me since I've got zero upper body strength right now). I will increase the amount by 1 every day, and once I reach 50, then I do 50 of each every day for the remainder of this challenge.

I hate weight lifting and strength training, but I figured adding this won't be too hard- it's not too intense, and it really doesn't take long to do it all. It's the little changes to my everyday life that have gotten me this far, and it's more little changes that will get me to my goal!

That's a great idea! I might try that on my winter break, also! I've got a long way to go but it seems like you're making great changes! :)
  • Up to 27 so far... moving on to 28 of each later today!
And I decided to add inner leg lifts just as something easy to add on.

This is really working for me, and I'm glad I'm able to make a small change that will make a big difference!
