Hey all! I was wondering what might be on your playlist when you work out? I enjoy almost every kind of music; looking for some upbeat, getcha going kind of songs.. (:

I am a little obsessed with creating the perfect (for me) workout playlist.

Here's what I have so far:

    Float On - Modest Mouse
Rock & Roll - Eric Hutchinson
Something Good Can Happen - Two Door Cinema Club
    Jerk It Out - Caesars
Every Little Thing She Does is Magic - The Police
    Daylight - Matt & Kim
The Middle - Jimmy Eat World
Dog Days Are Over - Florence & the Machine
Steady As She Goes - The Raconteurs
Hazy Shade of Winter - Bangles
Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
    Bad Romance - Lady Gaga
    Call Me - Blondie
Don't Stop the Music - Rihanna
Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) - Beyonce

(Like the laundry, it'll never be completely finished.)

This might sound dorky, but I'm a middle aged mommy now and I came of age during the heyday of the raver. So techno really gets me going cuz I close my eyes and imagine I'm on the dance floor with the strobe light washing over me. Instant energy.
  • I listen to a lot of Drum and Bass, Electronica, Metalcore, I'm all over the place lol.

I put Ke$ha into Pandora and let it go. Not my type of music normally, but for working out it pumps me up.

You need to get David Guetta CD Nothing but the beats. I get on the elliptical machine and think Im in the club trying to dance. Also Flo rida has some good songs.

some of my favorite songs from my playlist are:

Michael Jackson (The Beat Goes On) - Cash Cash
    Tacatá - Tacabro
Turn This Club Around - RIO
Levels (original or Skrillex remix) - Avicii
    anything by David Guetta
Pursuit of Happiness (feat MGMT & Ratatat) - Kid Cudi
    Nicki Minaj
We No Speak Americano (not sure of the artist)
Turn Up the Epic Motherf****r - Dada Life
anything by Andy Mineo, KB, Lecrae, Tedashii, or Trip Lee

I like a lot of dance/electronic/pop-y music to work out to. And some rap. Not really what I listen to usually (I'm more of a folk/indie rock person), but it's what gets me pumped up! :)
