Some days its easy to get the steps in, other days its a struggle. Today I am determined to make it over 10,000 so I have already spent over 30 minutes on the treadmill and was also jogging in place while doing laundry. I am over 5,000 steps and its still before breakfast!

Tried to go too fast on my long walk on Saturday - I was feeling the effects for three days afterwards, and had to take it a bit easy as a result. So I'm a little behind on my monthly goals, and only 3/6 on my daily goals. Lesson learned, though: stick with my original, more gradual, training plan, and don't try to force the speed too soon.0 -

For those of you wondering about how I managed 65,000 plus steps. I was up at 7 am and dared myself to see how many steps/miles I could get in that day. I basically stopped long enough to eat, restroom, and take care of my kids otherwise stepped all day. I have a " racetrack" that I do not allow then to destroy so that when the weather is sucky(like this weekend is supposed to be) I can still walk. For the record 65,100 steps for me is the equivalant of 26.65 miles, in other words I walked a marathon and kept on going.0 -
