Snacks with Fiber and Protein

I'm trying to come up with some good snacks with fiber and protein to keep in my arsenal or pantry, whatever. All I can really think of is almonds. I thought I would throw this out to everyone, since I ran out of ideas way too quickly.

    Dales Raw Protein bars are the best!!! They have protein and fiber--
  • I like the Luna bars but rarely buy them because it still feels like a candy bar type junk.

    My mom eats Fiber Plus bars for breakfast religiously! Give them a try, they aren't bad at all!

    Slice of whole grain bread with some peanut butter.

    Apple with peanut butter or a slice of cheese.

    Atkins bars.

    Also some fruits like guava, mango and papaya have fiber and you can eat them with cottage cheese or Greek yogurt for fiber and protein. And then there's Questbars- protein bars with lots of fiber

    I was looking at some of those snack bars, I'll have to try a few when I grocery shop this week.

    PB combos is a great idea.

    I was also realizing that hummus and veggies would also be good.

    whole grain pita bread and hummus
    hard boil some eggs and keep them in the refrigerator - eat them with a slice a whole grain bread
    cottage cheese or greek yogurt and frozen fruit with nuts

    Avocado, broccoli, spinach...fiber and protein.
