UNBELIEVABLE

Something strange happened today, I fell quite ill so i haven't exercised since the 24th of November 2012 which is 2 weeks, neither have i followed my calorie goals.
On about 5 or 6 days within that 2 weeks period i went over my calorie goals by at least 1000 calories. So today i hit the gym for the first time in 2 weeks and i climbed the weight scale thinking that i definitely added about 7lbs. But from the scale it turns out I've lost about 11 pounds.
I thought i was seeing double until i used another weight scale which showed me the same thing. I don't know if i should jump up with joy or hire Sherlock Holmes to investigate this.

Not to be too much of a downer, but you should prepare for some gain as you get healthier. Your body was using extra water while you were sick, so now it will probably start to replenish that water.

Even though there were days where i ate way above my calorie goals??

Your body works 2x as hard while your sick as it makes you better. While you may have been laying down and resting, it was working overtime. Definitely expect to gain some of that weight back (which is good) just as your body's way of finishing repairing itself after its internal battle.
