Alright so when your body is building more muscle you need more calories in right? Well what about the next day when your feeling sore? If you don't work out anymore that day does your body still need more?

You need more calories if you're in a body building mode, not something you do for a day. You're either eating at a deficit to lose, you're maintaining or you can do a build mode to work on building muscle. You can't lose and build significant muscle at the same time. Just doing a general muscle building workout as part of an exercise routine doesn't require extra calories.
  • If your a noob to lifting it wont hurt to much just hurt recovery a tad. As a female your muscle building is about half a man so id assume you only need a 250 or so excess.
