Loss of Appetite

Hey everyone. Has anybody experienced a loss of appetite after losing weight?
Nothing sounds good to me anymore....nothing tastes good to me anymore...
I would almost be happier just drinking water and not eating, because the thought of food makes me nauseous.

Please help, or give me some sort of advice.
I don't understand why nothing tastes good to me anymore.
Thank you in advance.

  • I don't think it's just because your weight loss contributed to the loss of appetite. Are you going through periods of enormous stress?

if it lasts longer than 36 hours, get to a doctor

your body is screwed up if it lasts that long and very harmful to your health

How long have you been feeling this way? Are you following a new diet that may be affecting you? Or eating very differently all of a sudden? Or running a fever / getting sick?

Eating is important obviously so try to eat a healthy diet and get your required nutrition. It will likely pass. If not a trip to the doctor might be a good idea.
