Chubz McFatty looking for friends! ^^

Hey!
So I joined the website through the app a little while ago.
Unfortunately my progress hasn't been going so well, and I was thinking that maybe it would be better for me to find some others like me that are trying to lose weight, to stay in the right mindset!
Basic stats, I'm 80kg on a 1.57m frame (176lbs on a 5"1 frame).
Have lost about 20 - 25kg now (44 - 55lbs) and even reached 73kg (160lbs) before but gained some back.
I don't wanna lose this battle! and I'm gonna work hard to lower the number on that scale. :)

    Please don't be negative about yourself, even in jest - you're awesome as you are, but lose the weight to be the most HEALTHY "you" you can be - I'd be happy to be a friend and cheer you on!

    Hey, feel free to add me! Good job on what you've done so far! I started at 174Ibs (although I'm slightly taller at 5'5") 22Ibs down, still have around 20Ibs to go, friends are definitely the way to go round here - mine have been invaluable to me so far!! :smile:

    Good job on your progress! I guess we had about similar starting points since I started at 80 kgs as well.

    Since i'm a tad taller as you, I know the struggle. When your frame is smaller, the weight packs on quicker!

    Feel , free to add me!!! Stay positive especially when your talking about yourself. Your topic should say something like "On the way to being Fit and looking for friends !" It has a big impact on you mentally and the journey ahead!!! I'm happy you decided to take that step which would put you on the path to hitting your goals!!

    My top weight was 185 (I'm also 5'1"). It took me a year but I got down to 118 and kept it off for 5 years. In the last 2 years I slowly regained 17 pounds, mostly because I let portion sizes get too big and some general bad food choices (Ice cream for supper is probably not a great idea). I finally came to grips with the fact that this will be something I'll never be able to let my guard down on even when I reach my goal (and I'm just a few pounds away from that). I'm lots older than you, but you can certainly add me! We can all learn from each other's triumphs and defeats!

    Add me if you like. Almost everyone I add stops logging on and abandons MFP but I have lost 50 lbs so far since feb. It really works if you really work at it! and motivation helps.

    All I'll add is to make sure you take measurements and progress pics. There will be times the scale won't be moving, but you will still be losing inches. If you don't take the measurements, then you won't know and may get frustrated. Don't develop an unhealthy relationship with your scale by letting it be the only determinant of progress.
