How often do you take progress photos?

Im interested to know how often pals with different goals take progress pictures.
I'm aiming to gain lean mass/ get better body composition/ stop being skinny fat and I have started taking a set of pictures every month, and plan to take my measurements every 2 months.
I feel like if I do it more often than that I will get discouraged by not seeing enough change, and if I waited longer that the curiosity would kill me!
How about you?

Am thinking once at the halfway point and then again at the end. My progress probably won't be dramatic until then.0

You might surprise yourself Bmac!

Every month same day weigh/measure/progress pics.0

I take face photos every 10 lbs. I take side-on shots every time I feel smaller ... I started with a HUGE belly, and it's finally getting smaller.
I'll take all-around progress pictures when I hit the half way mark (in 8 more pounds)0 -
I do it about every 10 lbs. I think doing it monthly is a good idea tho. Esp if you are aiming for recomposition. Even if it doesn't look like a change for one month ago, you should see awesome things doing an overall comparison.
I sure wish I did more before or beginning of journey pics. I avoided the camera like the plague and have practically NO pics at my biggest.0 -
I didn't take any at all when I started because I didn't think it would work lol Kinda wish I had now because it DOES work! Only got another stone maybe 2 till goal weight and I still haven't taken any pictures...
I prefer to hear nice comments or to just buy smaller clothes as they fit and will have millions of pictures once I am all done and maintaining0 -
I've been taking them every two weeks while doing Stronglifts, but generally every 4-6 weeks.
I'm not good with mirrors... I focus on the negative. Photos let me be more objective, as if I'm looking at someone else. So sometimes I take photos when I'm feeling insecure. It either makes me feel better, or makes me realize I need to step things up a bit.0 -
I also wish id taken some earlier on, especially in my workout gear, to see the difference better!!0

Every 2 months... they are on my profile if anyone is curious. I just realized I didn't post my 12 month progress ones though but there wasn't much loss between those and my last set (only about 6lbs because of a plateau).0

I take every two weeks normally on weigh in day. Truth be told I love a good photo, as it always shows what the scales does not. )0

Good Question. I hadn't even thought about it. My plan was one at the beginning and one at the end.0

You might regret not taking more Spurrowell!
So far it's helped see different areas I want to focus more on, and places that are being effectively improved0 -
I guess every other week or so. I should be taking them in the same conditions everytime though. I'm just not that structured enough.0

I take a few every week, Just so when I look back I can see every little change!0

I've been taking them about once a month. It really helped, especially at the beginning, when the scale and tape measure said progress and I couldn't see it in the mirror. Anytime I'm feeling discouraged, I pull them out and look at them side by side and see the difference, especially in my stomach. Makes me happy :flowerforyou:0

I took day one photos and completely forgot about them until I saw this post haha! I think I will take some on Jan 1 and compare...I took the others October 1.0

I've only taken one progress photo, and that was a few months ago. I probably won't take another until I'm "done" with losing weight. Even after I'm at my goal weight, I'll still be exercising, eating well, and working to tone up. So the next one won't be for a while.0
