I have a bag of bulgur cracked wheat and I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions or recipes?

Tabouli! Perfect for summer. Great on a pita with hummus.

I just made a mushroom and swiss stuffed eggplant recipe with bulgar. You can also do Tabbouleh or something like Tabbouleh stuffed pork chops

I just made a batch of oatmeal for the week and added bulgur:

    1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    1/2 cup bulgur cracked wheat
    4 cups water
    1/3 cup raisins
    2 tsp cinnamon

Brought to a boil, reduced heat and simmered for about 15 minutes with occasional stirring.
    Makes 4 servings

I served it into 4 containers. I plan to add 1/2 tsp ground flaxseed, 1/2 tsp wheat germ and 1 Tbsp light agave nectar when I eat it for breakfast this upcoming week.

    I did do a taste test...it's good!

Jessica - there's a great recipe for bulgur pilaf with vermicelli in Mark Bittman's cookbook titled How to Cook Everything. My wife and I love it; I'd recommend doubling the recipe
